Our relationship is a source of nourishment like water from a deep well. We started as acquaintances meeting to support each other as artists. Now we are friends sharing, guiding, and holding space. Accepted to the same artists residency in Ireland, we were able to attend in pairs: Leslie and Staci in February, Laura and Susan in March of this year.
We filled our buckets with Irish culture, landscapes, and experiences. Our collective body of work demonstrates 4 very different explorations, methods, and objectives, but the reverence for place, for the process, and for each other is as clear and fresh as the ancient sacred wells of Ireland.
